原生種，紫色、紅色或白色，單瓣，濃郁香氣。枝條多密刺，葉片皺褶，開花後結扁圓形鮮紅色果實。
R. rugosa is a native rose variety that produces purple, red, or white single blooms with an intense fragrance. Its flowers are followed by flattened round showy red fruits.
