19世紀，淡黃香水月季傳入歐洲，並被作為親本和歐洲薔薇雜交，是黃色基因的來源之一。
Parks’ Yellow Tea-scented China was bred in China some time before 1824. Mildly tea-scented, it produces light-yellow semi-double to double flowers that open to a globular cup form.
The rose made its way to Europe in the 19th century and was used as a parent to cross-breed with European roses, introducing yellow into the breeding line.
